VARIAN Morgana had seemed keen on investigating whatever was going on, and if he was being honest his own curiosity had been piqued as well. He was less worried about the potential for blessings and gifts, and more interested in seeing the tree and the surrounding flora for himself, he'd never really explored this area on his travels after all. There were very few actually gathered at the tree for the time being, himself, his Queen, and a few others had come to see what the fuss was about. Intriguing, so it really hadn't been something the collectively hallucinated, that was a comfort, sometimes he had trouble discerning what was real and what wasn't. For the moment he ignored Morgana, and everyone else, choosing to put his nose to the ground to sniff out one of the weird shells that littered the area, his sniffing found him close by the other canine, fairly unassuming were it not for the scales peppering his cheeks. He flicked his massive ears up and sat back to pick up one of the shells in his odd bird clawed hands, using the talons to crack it open. Picking number 27
HENKE When Heloise seemed taken by the call of the gods, Henke had been insistent that he come with him, after all, he was still a prey animal who he was responsible for. He wasn't terribly pressed by the messages of the gods, but he still felt that familiar tug of curiosity, so he'd left with Bjarni while he followed his Seidr to the tree. He was on edge the moment they stepped into the area, Morgana was here, he knew very little of the Queen, only that she scared the piss out of him, not that he would ever show it. He limped after the deer with his awkward gait and watched as he opened the first shell, then the second, coming to stand beside him and sniff at the candy, "it smells safe," he looked over at him, giving a gentle and reassuring nudge, "go ahead, it smells like food," he chuckled, before turning to scrounge out a shell to open himself, picking it up in his mouth before he spit it onto the ground and clawed at it to get it open. Picking Number 13

At least Henke was reassuring. It made him less hesitant to try the first one, spurred on by the wolf's words, and he was glad for it. The little treat didn't seem to do anything though, other than taste good.
Wow. So all it took was three cracked shells and a spider, huh? Inside the third shell was another piece of candy. Unlike the green-blue one he had before, this one looked different. It was a bright green, with blue iridescent. It smelled sweet and sour, but Heloise was not deterred. He lifted it up and plucked it right in his mouth.
It tasted exactly how it smelled: sour at first, before slowly morphing into a sweet taste. It was soo good. Before he could begin searching for a fourth, a feeling overcame him. It was a calm feeling, that told him enough was enough for now. He was content with listening to this feeling, and instead decided to stay sitting by Henke to see what it and others found. He would watch them passively as they search, not wanting to impede, and used Weather Sense as he watched. Clear, sunny skies all day, with a light breeze to go with it. The perfect summer weather. "This is a good day." he thought aloud, not talking to any particular person. Picking the Alchemy trait as his reward. Heloise is sitting next to Henke and watching others get their treat. .3. Edit: Edited it to take into mind Henke's post!

Morgana Selanmere MADNESS IS A BEAUTIFUL IRONY
WHERE PERFECTION AND FLAWS MEET
Unfortunately the shell she had selected contained nothing but a feather that floated away before she could process what she had found. She resisted a small growl, feeling frustration bubble up in her breast and trembling against her collar bone. She resisted the urge however, calming herself down and turning her attention to a new target. A shell had been laying beneath a rainbow colored plant that shimmered in the light. Her eyes glanced over to the see a few new comers joining in the hunt. Varian and the king Henke, she didn't know much of that one but his battle scars made her curious. She ignored them for now, finding nothing else interesting other than a third canine to appear.
She didn't know that one and no one else seemed to either, she didn't pay much mind to him but kept note of where he was.
Her teeth cracked around the next shell, a little more irritated than she normally was, the caribou had gotten another treat but she still had yet to find a second one. She watched as the shell cracked apart, revealing what was to be inside. Her eyes were narrowed in suspicion however, far to uneasy of this game to let her guard down very easily.
Choosing number 29!

Hugo Martin When he cracked open the shell he wasn't expecting to find a serpent made of light to slither out of it. He smiled at it, watching it fade away and seeing nothing else within the shell. He blinked, looking around and seeing some newcomers. There was a wolf that was missing a leg, and a strange looking canine that he assumed was a maned wolf. He had crow-like front feet that made him look especially odd. He grinned, now there was an opportunity to tease and tug at the strings that made the creature tick.
He practically skipped on over to see just what was going on in the weird crow/wolf creatures neck of the woods. A spider crawled out of his shell, blinking with those gross eight eyes before disintegrating into nothing. He grinned, flashing a rather charming smile at the stranger with a wink. Oh yeah, he could play the charming devil when he wanted to.
"So were you a build a bitch then? Your parents must of ran out of parts by the end of it and said fuck it, bird feet it is." He practically cackled, laughing in a way that he thought was infectious. He started prancing about in his normal playful manner.
"Lemme guess they named you something stupid to go along with it right? Probably something pretentious like Flock'o'Sparrow or some shit right?" He laughed, eyes shining with a strange mirth that seemed to radiate out from him.
His words had no real bite to them, just a simple sarcastic tone he took whenever he was joking around. Another glance at the crowfeet idiot told him a little bit more. He had a lot of blue in him, blue spots and a blue hair streak to match. Not to mention his eyes, colored like the sky. Really odd but not all together unpleasant to look at. Soon enough though his attention was grabbed by another shell that looked to be something worth his while. He grabbed it and popped it open, curious as to what was inside.

Morgana Selanmere MADNESS IS A BEAUTIFUL IRONY
WHERE PERFECTION AND FLAWS MEET Finally a treat awaited her within the shell, she grinned and crunched down upon the candy with a morbid form of glee. Visualizing it as a form of bone from an unknown enemy that dared to stand in her way. She hummed with a satisfied expression, feeling the taste of sweetness ebb away. She grimaced, not liking the flavor much, it reminded her of the sweet smell of rot and decay from festering corpses on a fall afternoon. Not entirely something she found pleasing. The feeling that overcame her however was strange, knowing it wasn't of herself. It told her enough, that she had gotten what she had asked for.
A bounty the deity had said, she had felt a slight tingling sensation over herself, perhaps her magic had been boosted? She wasn't sure, but it seemed as though she would listen for now. More curious as to what else was going on around her. The wolf from before had decided to start a conversation with Varian, her eyes narrowing on the creature in suspicion. It seemed light a jovial by his body language, but the words she caught didn't match.
She grinned, finding the insult somewhat amusing. The man had a silver tongue at least as well as a decent build. If he decided to attack then she would step in, but for now she hung back and watched. Things were starting to get entertaining and she was ready to see what else this place had in store for her. Though she wondered where her brother, sibling of blood and kin, had wandered off to.
Choosing Polymorphe for Morgana's unique power!

Bjarni Idunn He'd followed Henke to the call, after seeing Heloise take off as well. He thought about staying to guard the Faction but decided that with such an event taking place nothing bad could happen. Not to mention he was going to have to protect Henke if they were all going to see what was happening. Thankfully it seemed as though the call was for something interesting, a strange scavenger hunt of sorts.
He was behind both Henke and Heloise, which was a small blow to his pride. His wing beats flapping hard within the wind only to have him come down for a landing. His pawsteps were loud against the ground, his heavy weight making it more clunky than smooth. His three tails curled behind him and he noticed all the strange new creatures that had arrived. Another wolf who had scales underneath his eyes, a maned wolf with crow feet, and the hyena Queen. He wasn't sure of her name but he knew of her. She was an intimidating woman to say the least, decorated with massive horns and so many mutations that even he felt a little under dressed when around her.
He wasn't afraid of her though, he could hold his own.
For now he turned his attention to the ground, looking about to see if he could find a shell for himself. It took him a moment, but a neat pale white shell laid beneath a tree that had black, heart-shaped fruits hanging from it. He stared for a moment before turning his attention back to the shell. He cracked it open, not sure what he was looking for, other than something he could use.
Choosing number 46!

VARIAN A spider, it had to be a spider, huh? He let out an indignified yelp at the nasty little thing that crawled out of the shell and over his foot before it vanished, "gross gross gross gross," he made a displeased sound, before his ear swiveled and he caught Hugo's words, turning an indignant glare at him looking every bit like he was terribly offended, "you wanna find out what these bird feet can do?!" He barked at the newcomer, who seemed to think himsef incredibly charming.
"First of all, that's the best pretentious name you could come up with?!" He scoffed, "second you're lucky I'm in a good mood!" He made a gesture that was very much like he was flipping the other canine off, sneering, "my name is Varian, what's your name? Asshole Mc Bitchface?" He tried not to linger his eyes on him for too long, because he was kind of infuriatingly charming, and he was kind of nice to look at. Instead he busied himself with another shell, again using his deft clawed hands to crack it open with a mutinous glare at the other, look what I can do with my bird feet, was what the look said.
Choosing Number 24
HENKE Henke screwed up his face a little when nothing more than a useless feather floated from the shell, shit, not even something tasty like the seashells on the beaches of his territory tended to have. He chuckled and shook his head, deciding to root out another one, curiosity for what he might find getting the better of him.
He was distracted momentarily by Bjarni, glancing over at him with a chuckle, "you finally caught up!" He joked, giving the tiger a nudge before he tilted his head, turning to sniff out another shell before he cracked that one open as well.

Bjarni Idunn He peered inside and blinked only to see a small piece of something round and glass-like. It had a pinkish tint to it and smelled relatively sweet. Was it edible? Looked to be something he could eat at least. He licked it up, sucking on it for a moment and deciding that it'd be easier just to crunch on it. His teeth made quick work of it and he figured that it tasted pretty good. Something similar to strawberries. He didn't feel anything change much, but he figured it would come with time.
Instead he turned his attention to Henke, figuring that he'd want to stick close to his King and chat with him. Again, he still could not remember his name to save his own skin. But nonetheless he trotted over, keeping his wings tucked close and tails waving lazily behind him. The nudge and comment made him chuckle, shaking his head lightly before hearing a commotion over where the crow footed canine was. He couldn't suppress his snort at the interaction, finding it entertaining to watch.
"Yeah well, I can't let you have all the fun now can I?" He smiled to his King, letting his tails mock wag in which he'd seen other canines do to show happiness.
His gaze turned to Heloise at the comment of it being a good day. He couldn't help but give a little smile to the caribou.
"That it is, fun and interesting at the very least. So, how have you been liking Skalavik? Have you been able to make it a good home for yourself?" He kept the conversation light, not having spoken to his King yet, but he figured he'd get around to it.
He wondered how Heloise was holding up, being in a Faction made up of mostly carnivores. Was it strange to see meat all the time? Or perhaps he never noticed, certainly strange alright. Bjarni busied himself with another shell, this one being a pale blue in color. He opened it, expecting another candy inside and not realizing the tricks that had been going on before he arrived.
Choosing number 3! And Exchanging the Talent for an Elemental Level for Shadow!

Hugo Martin Hugo couldn't help the laughter that escaped him at the undignified comments that were being thrown his way. Man this was way to easy, had he known this canine would be so easy to rile up he'd have tried to find him sooner! He watched glancing down at the canine's bird feet with a bemused expression before cackling at the nickname given to him. He did hang up on the name though, Varian. Now that was a nice name, soft and melodic on the tongue. Almost musical in a way.
"What are those bird feet good for? Finding a crumb five feet away?" He barked another laugh, his tail wagging like an excited puppy dog.
"And besides, you think my names are unoriginal? While yours might be accurate on all accounts it certainly isn't anything unique, I like to refer to myself as Jackass Extraordinaire The Fifth!." He let out a loud laugh, puffing out his chest and striking a pose as if to accentuate his pompousness.
He turned to his shell however, finding a candy waiting for him. He crunched it easily, tasting the sweet flavor and giving a little hum in delight. He was starting to enjoy this outing more and more with each passing second. His eyes caught a second shell and he grabbed it, popping it open and not really paying attention to the contents.
"Now then my dear Buzzard'Face'Mcgee pay attention now, the name is Hugo and don't forget it since you'll need something to call me by when we end up in court." He let out a loud laugh, giving a rather charming smirk and offering a tilt of his head.
He looked back down to his shell, curious to the contents and actually paying attention to what he was doing now that he wasn't playing around with the guy he now knew to be Varian.

While everyone continued to crack open their shells, Heloise continued to watch. Henke ended up getting a feather at first, while Bjarni got one on his first try. Then Henke got a piece of candy himself. "Nice luck, guys." he said to the both of them, giving them a small smile.
He was chuckling at the exchange between two wolves, one of whom had scales under its eyes and the other having bird legs. It seemed scalie-gem was just playing around, while the other was not so impressed. Still, it was amusing.
His attention then falls to Bjarni. He still has a smile on his face from watching the other wolves interacting when he speaks. "Skalavik has been treating me well, both you guys and the land," he begins, "I'm going to need some help finding or making items to help me make salves 'n stuff better. Might need a craftsgem." he left out the part where he said the herb stock was getting a little low, figuring that to be sensitive information not meant for open ears.
