Today was a good day to forage.
He thought this because a light rainfall would grace him with its presence today, the knowledge brought on by the use of Weather Sense. He was getting at accurately and with more detail predicting how the weather would be like. Right now, it was an afternoon way, weak winds with a sky blanketed in white clouds. Later, the clouds would grow thicker, and the winds will pick up.
The weather would keep him cool as he looked to stock his wares. Right now, Skalavik was small, but Helpise was the only Seidr and he owed it to Henke to keep the little clan healthy. Any issues they had was always brought to him, if they opted not to let it heal on its own. He remained aware of his surroundings and the potential danger. Not far off, he could see a resting jaguar lying on the tree. It was sleep and unaware of his presence, but nonetheless he kept one eye on the predator and his surroundings, and one eye out for herbs.
Echinacea to be more exact. The pink, cone-shaped flower lived in dry plains areas like the savannah. A ripe place to look for it. He decided it would be a good idea to try and practice Sensate. He wasn't as good with his Earthen magic as he was with Electric, and so he could not see everything. He also could only see in a vague 6ft radius instead of 10. But it worked, so he went with it and used it to help in his search.
